Genoa City’s elite is finally home on The Young and the Restless. But that doesn’t mean the drama is behind them. In fact, some of these core couples are headed for a shakeup later this summer. The horrific trip to Nice changed everything. Here’s the forecast for three couples who are doomed.

The Star-Crossed Lovers

Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire (Hayley Erin) couldn’t be anymore happier to see each other. However, that could quickly change. Audra (Zuleyka Silver) is still out for blood. She doesn’t like losing. She could plan something even more sinister that could tear apart the star-crossed lovers. She knows that Victor (Eric Braeden) doesn’t want his granddaughter with Kyle. And he still has a shiny prize to give away. So Audra will work even harder to break them up in order to get what she wants.

The Seductress and Former Doctor

Speaking of which, Audra’s relationship with Nate (Sean Dominic) could already be in trouble. He was already onto her the moment she set foot in Genoa City. Nate wanted to know what went on in Nice, especially with Audra’s business. He didn’t expect Kyle to share that it ended up in jeopardy. Nate also doesn’t trust that Audra and Kyle share an illicit past. Since he’s been welcomed by Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Claire, chances are he might rekindle his former flame. Audra could find herself on the street and looking for a new man to keep her warm.

The Gambler and His New Shiny Object

Billy (Jason Thompson) has no idea what he wants. One day, he’s in with Cane (Billy Flynn). The next day, he’s out. Now, he could be in, but he needs Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) help. This could ruffle feathers in his relationship with Sally (Courtney Hope). He already gave her the reins to Abbott Communications. Now, he’s desperate to get Chancellor back, especially after Chance’s (Conner Floyd) tragic death. Working this close with Phyllis will likely have Sally rethinking everything she built with Billy. Is it even worth it?
