‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Tuesday, June 24 looks like it’s going to have more character building as Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) gives some answers.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Cane Admits to Lily he Wants her Back; Cane Tells Chance Someone is Trying to Kill Him
Things will start to make more sense, but we doubt any of the jaded denizens of Genoa City will be moved.
It’ll start with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) when she’s unwilling to give Cane another chance. Devon Winters (Bryton James) wants to leave, but she wants answers.
Cane will give some, and that will be that he wants to go legitimate and wants Lily back.
He wants to make his own way, and the biggest part of that is winning Lily’s heart again.
This feels like a copy and paste of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)’s storyline, so we’ll have to wait and see.
There’s far more at stake as we’ll get a glimpse into whether Cane is being duplicitous or not.
He’ll talk to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) privately and tell him he thinks someone will try to kill him.
We feel a murder mystery coming!

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday, June 24: Lily wants answers
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious about Cane’s claims to want to go legit. So far, he’s been portrayed more as a misunderstood scoundrel than the villain he was.
Granted, most of that was the influence of his father, but it’s definitely a reboot of the character going beyond not having an Australian accent.
He and his father saw the light when the latter learned he was dying and that makes sense. The thing is, Cane told all of that to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
He’ll promise to tell Lily, and everyone else, everything in the morning. She’ll be waiting, if she doesn’t decide to leave.
If he’s going to win her back, it’s going to take some work. Just like it did with Diane a year or so ago.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday, June 24: Chance is disposable rival?
Now that Chance, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) arrived, Cane can get down to business.
He’ll take Chance aside and let him know he wasn’t invited as a Chancellor but as a detective.
He’ll share that he believes someone is trying to kill him and they’ll attempt it soon.
There have been rumors of an upcoming murder mystery, and this will play into it. Since Chance’s actor is going to ‘Days of Our Lives’, we think he’s going to be the one killed off.
He may be a body double or step in front of a bullet meant for Cane. Chance will do his job, and it’ll cost him everything.
It’ll be a great angle for Cane to play off in trying to prove worthy of Chance’s sacrifice.
Or maybe he’ll have Chance killed to think the herd of rivals for Chancellor Industries?
It seems unnecessary, but there’s always a good chance it’ll happen to make Cane interesting before the returning character shine wears off.
Is Cane setting up the attempt on his own life? Let us know in the comments below.
