August 4-8 will be a week of wheeling and dealing in Genoa City. The Young and the Restless video preview reveal that Victor has a plan for Cane, while Mr. Ashby partners with a former rival. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s ahead.

This week’s preview starts with Adam (Mark Grossman) in his office at Newman Media. His work is interrupted when Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire (Hayley Erin) stop by unannounced. Adam asks what brings them by, and Claire responds that she’s doing what all Newmans do: make a deal. Claire and Kyle making a deal with Adam is interesting, but what’s the reason for wanting a deal? Could it have something to do with Audra (Zuleyka Silver)? Or perhaps they want Adam’s help to get Victor (Eric Braeden) to stop interfering in their relationship?
Speaking of Victor, he meets with Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil) to tell them that Cane (Billy Flynn) is in Genoa City. Lily says she’s aware and not to worry because she’s going to avoid Cane at all costs. Victor replies that he doesn’t think that’s a good idea. With the business war between Victor and Cane brewing, The Moustache plans to take down his new rival. To do that, Victor may enlist Lily’s help to get closer to Cane and learn his secrets. Will Lily agree to Victor’s plan?
Later, Cane meets with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) in his suite at the CGAC. He informs her someone else will be joining them, and Phyllis says the person must be a heavy hitter. Phyllis is shocked when Billy (Jason Thompson) arrives and declares he’s ready to make some waves. Phyllis and Billy haven’t been on the best of terms lately. But with Chancellor on the line, can the two put aside their differences to help Cane? Or is this a disaster in the making?
