Brooke’s fall from Nick’s boat nearly took a tragic turn as she floated lifelessly in the water. Thankfully, Ridge’s fast thinking—and strong swimming—saved the day. He managed to get Brooke out of the water to safety. Ridge then frantically performed CPR to bring her back around. All while Nick was coming around after being knocked unconscious himself.

While Ridge was giving her mouth-to-mouth and compressions, Brooke was envisioning running toward him on the beach after finding him again. The memory brought her back around, and she opened her eyes. Ridge, beside himself with relief, passionately kissed her.

Later, Ridge held Brooke in his arms and refused to let go. He nearly lost her, and it showed him exactly what he wanted and what he needed. Brooke truly is his destiny.

Back in Los Angeles, Donna (Jennifer Gareis) updated Katie (Heather Tom) about the Italy drama. Nick has a ring and he’s going to propose! They hoped she wouldn’t fall for his gesture. They knew she’d regret it later. Then, they realized their sister hadn’t been in much contact in the past few hours and hoped she was okay.

Liam Sung Grace’s Praises

Across town, Hope (Annika Noelle) continued hovering over Liam (Scott Clifton) while he wondered if there was ever going to be a way to thank Grace for everything. He was so incredibly grateful to have his life back. He’ll get to see his girls grow up, and that is priceless.

Of course, talk of a Buckingham and Beth brought the conversation right back to Reese (Waybe Brady). That man ruined their lives, and they are lucky things worked out, and they got their daughter back. They had to wonder how an angel like Grace was married to a monster. Oh, if they only knew (and spoilers tease they will soon!).

Finn Ripped Grace Apart

Over at the hospital, Finn (Tanner Novlan) continued pushing Grace (Cassandra Creech) for more information about her devious dupe. Grace confirmed that Liam did have a brain bleed for real, but everything after that was lies, lies, and more lies. Finn was furious.

Grace explained she had to do what she did to pay off Reese’s debts so she and her daughters wouldn’t get hurt. With Reese in jail, it’s not like he could come up with the money, so the bookies came to her… relentlessly. She had no choice. There were no other options.

She then dove into the twisted tale of how she got away with it. She used his past scans, his multiple past brain bleeds, along with the new one, to formulate the brain tumor plan. Disgusted, Finn read her for filth and issued a shocking ultimatum: either she comes clean or he spills the truth. Grace frantically tried to get him to keep it all a secret. No one could know! Yeah, that’s not gonna happen.
