The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 4 saw Finn hearing alarm bells, Grace getting her hands even dirtier, and Ridge trying to stop Nick from proposing to Brooke!

Over in Italy, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was finally seeing the light. He apologized to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) for turning against her during the coup and for everything after. He said sorry over and over for hurting her and told her he cared about her deeply. However, before he got everything off his chest, Nick (Jack Wagner) showed up and whisked her away.

Brooke was all smiles while walking the streets of Italy and eating gelato with Nick. She was even more pleased when he took her to his boat. How lovely!

Meanwhile, Eric (John McCook) was on the phone trying to track down his son to no avail. He was all about the drama and even told Donna (Jennifer Gareis) about the engagement ring when she called. Nick was going to propose and he and Ridge must stop it!  Donna urged him to find Ridge before it was too late. Luckily, Eric didn’t have to wait long. Soon, his son was there and Eric frantically told him about Nick’s ring and plan to make Brooke his wife.

Bill Make A Million Dollar Mistake

Back in Los Angeles, Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) and Liam (Scott Clifton) was out of bed for the first time, which pleased Finn (Tanner Novlan) when he showed up to check in. Finn kept his skepticism to himself but when he asked about Liam’s aftercare and physical therapy plan, he was on edge when he heart there wasn’t one.

While Bill saw that as yet another miracle, Finn knew that simply was not possible. How could an experimental treatment go so well the very first time? This is unheard of. Bill wasn’t about to kick this gift horse in the mouth, especially not after paying such a high price for his son’s life. Imagine Finn’s shock to hear Dollar Bill happily paid a cool million dollars! He was even more disturbed learning he sent the money directly to Grace.

Talk then turned to the past as Liam lamented how funny it was that Grace saved his life after Reese tried to ruin it. The evil doctor stole his daughter to pay off gambling debts and nearly robbed him of a life with her. And, Grace is the one who gave him more time with his daughter. Hmm…gambling debts you say…

Finn’s next stop was his office where he started making calls to get Liam’s file. Back at the Casa Spencer, Liam thanked Bill for dropping mad cash to save his life. Bill wouldn’t hear of it. That’s nothing. The money is nothing. He’s just relieved his family is still intact after he let Luna (Lisa Yamada) free.

Grace Made Another Grave Misstep

As for Grace, she got tough with that mystery player who keeps calling her. “Don’t come near me or my daughters ever again! You hear me! Ever again!” She seethed before hanging up the phone and staring at Liam’s file. She was so stressed she even snapped at a nurse who came to deliver paperwork.

Grace’s next call was to Paris. Grace told her daughter how much she loves her and told her she would do anything for her. Then, she went and deleted Liam’s entire brain cancer medical history. She then sat with her thoughts and relived each and every single lie she told that got her to this point. Her walk down that deranged memory lane was interrupted by Finn storming into her office and demanding answers!
