For those who have been following Virgin River carefully, watching Mel Monroe navigate life in the remote Northern California town, they’re probably all caught up. So if you need something with a familiar tone to get you through the next month or two before season 7, Hart of Dixie has you covered.
If You Love Virgin River, Hart Of Dixie Is The Perfect Show To Watch Next
Hart Of Dixie Is Also A Romantic, Charming Story About Someone Starting Over In A Remote Setting

Hart of Dixie is a CW series that ran for four seasons from 2011 to 2015, finally ending with a series finale that managed to tie up some major storylines as best it could, considering it was announced that the series was canceled sometime in the middle of the fourth season airing.
The series stars Rachel Bilson as Dr. Zoe Hart, a New Yorker with dreams of becoming a heart surgeon in the big city. However, after failing to get a job there, she ends up back in her hometown of Bluebell, Alabama, working as a general practitioner at a practice started by the father she never knew she had.
They are beautiful shows, where there aren’t endless possibilities, but of the few possibilities available to the people of Bluebell and Virgin River, they can take them as far as they can imagine. They’re charming series, filled with humor and romance, that slowly win you over the longer you watch them.
Hart Of Dixie Isn’t Available On Netflix – Where You Can Stream It Instead
All Four Seasons Are Available On Amazon Prime Video

One problem, though. If you are a Netflix-only subscriber, Hart of Dixie is not available on the service. While Virgin River was developed for Netflix in 2019, Hart of Dixie premiered eight years earlier on The CW. Now, it’s only available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
