In a pivotal episode on Monday’s General Hospital, the seeds are sown for someone to end up in the waters of the pier by week’s end. Will it be Ric (Ric Hearst), Drew (Cameron Mathison), or someone else?

Molly (Kristen Vaganos) comes upon Cody (Josh Kelly) and Ava (Maura West) making out, with him shirtless, when she shows up unannounced at the Quartermaine stables. Before Molly walks out on him, Cody explains that Kristina (Kate Mansi) paid him to seduce Ava because he thought she wanted her away from her father! Ava storms off in a huff as does Molly.

Meanwhile, Ric stops by to see Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) but finds Kristina there, who then accuses him of blackmailing her mother. Then, Ric launches into a full verbal onslaught of all of Kristina’s actions from the court case she lost claiming Ava pushed her out the metro court hotel window, to how selfish she was about the baby and her grief, and that she never planned to give up the child to Molly and T.J.

In addition, the two go at it about Kristina cutting the brakes to Ric’s car by mistake instead of Ava and how she should be in jail for attempted murder, but Alexis is always cleaning up her messes. Kristina defends herself by saying she wasn’t in her right mind.

Ric yells at Kristina that his daughter, Molly, would have lost the baby either way because of Kristina’s action. Seeing a sharp letter opener, Kristina goes to grab with the intent on stabbing Rick, but suddenly puts it back down. Kristina admits to Ric that she doesn’t want Molly to know what she did, and how she injured her father in the process, because she doesn’t want to lose her again after the two repaired their fractured sisterly relationship

All of a sudden, Ava shows up at Alexis’ front door looking for the legal eagle, but comes upon Kristina and Rick. Ava and Kristina go at it about which one of them should be rotting behind a jail cell. Next, Ric says the blackmail is officially over, he’s done. In fact, he emptied all of Ava’s bank accounts and more.

Ava loses it. She screams that money is from her divorce settlement. Rick gloats that he earned it. He took all of her money and there’s nothing she can do it about it. They each talk about betraying the other over blackmailing Alexis for part of the Cassadine Fortune. As he starts to leave, Ava hits him over the head with a round sphere she grabbed from a table; knocking him out with a bloody wound on the back of his head, as Kristina just stands there and looks shocked.

Meanwhile, the reason Alexis is not at her house is that she is meeting with Drew at the Metro Court. Alexis wants to find a path forward after their confrontation about Scout and feels there should be room for all of Scout’s relatives in her life. Drew is not having it, and just as she is talking has Alexis served with a restraining order to stay away from her granddaughter. Alexis is livid as Drew also informs her that Molly, Kristina and her entire family is getting served one too.

Nothing will stop Drew. He tells Alexis he knows that she was going to try to take Scout from him. Next, Alexis brings up Sam’s name saying she would want her children with each other, and he ripped Scout away from Danny. Drew says Danny is a thug in the making and Alexis tells him to shut his mouth, as Martin (Michael E. Knight) and Laura (Genie Francis), who are at another table and the pt patrons look on.
