The Britch may or may not be back. If she is, will her mom be joining her?

The Britch is returning to General Hospital! Or is she? Kelly Thiebaud has confirmed her return to the soap, but no word on who she will be playing. If it is indeed our beloved Britt, will she be bringing her mom with her?

Hint, Hint
It is still a mystery if Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) will return from the dead. This is a soap, after all, so it is entirely possible. Countless dead people have popped back up in Port Charles.

Then there is Cody (Josh Kelly). He was suddenly sitting by the Metro Court pool with his maybe love interest, Molly (Kristen Vaganos), and became nostalgic.

Granted, he was a little drunk, but he was reminiscing about when he parachuted into that very same pool and landed on Britt. He has some very obvious regret about the way he handled things with the then-GH Chief of Staff. It is odd to start talking about a former cast member out of nowhere, so that could have been our hint that she is on her way back to Port Charles, alive and well.

Mommy Dearest
If Britt had anything in common with her mom, Liesl (Katherine Gati), it is that they were both hated characters who we grew to love. Once we loved them, they were both gone. Britt was murdered by the Hook Killer, while her mother just disappeared from Port Charles.

It is very easy to imagine in soap land that her death was faked. Her mom might be hiding her away while trying to cure her Huntington’s Disease. After all, Liesl is a brilliant doctor.

Another option is that Britt really is dead, but she had a secret twin out there somewhere. After Liesl was so devastated by the death of her daughter, she could have gone to find the twin that she had hidden away (she is good at that) or given up for adoption.

If she is Britt, or maybe even her sister, fans hope that she and Jason (Steve Burton) will become the couple they were on their way to becoming before Jason went missing. There was definite chemistry between them.

We also hope that if Liesl returns, so will Scott (Kin Shriner). That was another great match. Do you hope the Britt character returns to PC? What about her mom? Let us know in the comments section.
