Key Takeaways:
- Finn has become suspicious of Liam‘s wounds, putting pressure on Grace and her secret.
- Luna is not dead; Li has faked her death and is hiding her at home, trying to nurse her back to health.
- Brooke has finally let go of Ridge and chosen Nick, riding off into the sunset with him.
The Bold and the Beautiful kept us on our toes all week! July 28-August 1 brought rising suspicions, a bombshell secret, and the end to a love story. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!
Grace Realized She’s Screwed
Finn (Tanner Novlan) paid Liam (Scott Clifton) a visit on Monday to check on his wounds and see how his healing is coming along. While Finn anticipated opening those bandages to a whole lot of stitches, what he found was curious. Very curious. So curious, in fact, it had him hearing alarm bells. Something fishy was going on here.
And, of course, Finn was right. Something fishy IS going on and things are not what they seem. Unfortunately, when he made the discovery, Grace (Cassandra Creech) was listening in at the door. Instantly, she felt the walls closing in and she began to panic. Can she duck for cover and come up with a plausible explanation to save herself and bury her secret even deeper?
Luna Is Alive!
Li (Naomi Matsuda) repeated history this week by kidnapping another “dead” family member. Much like she did with Finn (Tanner Novlan), she announced Luna’s tragic passing but instead of taking her granddaughter/niece to the morgue, she took a very much alive Luna home to care for her privately. Li has her locked away in the same room she kept Finn in and is trying to nurse her back to life.
We have to wonder what Li’s plan is, especially since she’s been down this road before. How is she going to explain herself when/if Luna does open her eyes and return to the world? What is she going to say if Luna wakes up and is more evil than ever? Li is playing with fire. We just hope no one gets burned.
Brooke Chose Nick!
We have to hand it to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) for finally letting go of master waffler Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). She gave the dressmaker an ultimatum and even a second chance to pick her, and when he didn’t, she dropped him like a hot potato and rode off into the sunset with Nick (Jack Wagner).
Will Brooke find happiness with Nick? While we’re sure he’ll do everything she can to please her and sweep her off her feet, we all know she’ll be pining for Ridge the entire time. Let’s hope Nick is happy playing second fiddle to his brother.
