Fans said they couldn’t ‘wait’ for the new season.Alexandra Breckenridge recently took fans on set of Virgin River Season 7, revealing an exciting update for fans patiently awaiting new episodes.

The actress, who plays Mel Monroe on the small-town Netflix drama, gave fans a glimpse at one of the filming locations, revealing that she and her on-screen husband, Jack Sheridan (played by Martin Henderson), no longer live on the farm.

“Here we are,” she began in the video, noting, “not on the farm.”

“Filming… at Mel and Jack’s new house,” she exclaimed, panning the camera to show the finished modern home, with wood and stone detailing.

In the clip, the actress sat on some white outdoor furniture in a stunning blue outfit while waiting to shoot her next scene.

“Love the new house and can’t wait to see it used in season 7 more,” one fan commented.

Another added, “honestly don’t know if I’m ready to say goodbye to the cabin, but at the same time I’m so excited to see them starting their life together in the new house! raising their family…” as someone else stated, “Can’t wait to see Mel and Jack move in to their beautiful new house and see all of the amazing memories they will make in their, Sugar too.”

“I miss the cabin!!! The glorious cabin!!!!! But can’t wait to see the new digs,” someone else mused, as other comments complimented the “beautiful view”

While the cabin was perfect for Mel’s beginnings in Virgin River, now that she and Jack have tied the knot, fans are ready for their next chapter to begin in their new home.

Virgin River is clearly knee-deep in production on the upcoming season, and though there’s no premiere date set, it has a planned return sometime in 2026.
