Tate’s World Shattered: The Baby Lie Unravels!

On Wednesday, July 23rd, Sophia continues her conversation with Tate, confirming their newborn baby girl was born and immediately adopted in Chicago. But here’s the kicker: Sophia is totally lying, those adoptive parents don’t exist! Tate is absolutely horrified, realizing he’ll never meet his daughter. He was already worried about missing the birth and meeting the parents, and now it looks like his worst fears are confirmed. How long can Sophia keep this massive secret?

Deara Family Drama & Doug’s Debts!

Gabi and Tony Deara are cooking up some serious plots! They’re determined to get Deara away from Titan, Xander, and Phillip. Gabi plans to use her sex appeal as a weapon as part of Tony’s big scheme. Talk about playing dirty!

Meanwhile, Sarah finally gets some quality time with Victoria after endless arguments with Xander over visitation. And poor Doug 3 gets a major earful from both Ari and Holly! They corner him at the Brady Pub, furious that he put them in danger. He thought Holly had paid off his debt, but those loan sharks came back for interest! Doug 3 is full of apologies, but Ari is so mad she gives him a face slap! After all that, Ari is happily reunited with her mom at the Hernandez house and checks in on little baby Tessorto.

EJ’s Shooting Trial & Marlena’s Collapse!

On Thursday, July 24th, Belle takes EJ to Marlena’s for a hypnosis session to unlock his memories of who shot him. EJ knows finding the truth is the only way to clear Johnny’s name. But what if EJ’s memories point to Rachel pulling the trigger? Could Marlena actually hide that truth to protect her granddaughter, even if it means finding another way to exonerate Johnny? This is going to be intense!

Paulina is super worried that Chanel might be a suspect in EJ’s shooting, especially after seeing that video. She’s also concerned about Johnny facing charges, and Abe is there to support the family. Johnny’s trial is officially kicking off with witnesses and all sorts of courtroom drama!

Gwen is left completely shocked on Thursday. Could her precious necklace be missing? We’ll see! Brady, Rachel, and Gwen have a tense chat at the DeMera mansion. If her necklace is gone, she might suspect Rachel was involved. I’m wondering if Doug 3 might swipe the necklace before he leaves town to try and make things right with Julie Williams – that would be quite a gesture! Gwen can certainly afford another necklace with all that Von Lochner money!

Bittersweet Goodbyes & Shocking Health Crises!

Friday, July 25th, brings a bittersweet goodbye as Doug 3 finally talks to Julie before he leaves Salem. She hasn’t wanted to speak to him, but she does offer him some kind words, telling him he has lots of potential. I hope this means he’ll turn his life around and maybe even return to Salem someday. And speaking of that necklace, will Julie get it back before he leaves? Gwen definitely wouldn’t give it up voluntarily!

And speaking of Ms. Rizczech von Lochner, Gwen is harassing Gabi about Stefan and Dimitri. Gabi wants to know if Gwen saw Stefan in Germany when she got that Von Lochner dough. Gwen is being super cagey, taunting Gabi that both their husbands, Dimitri and Stefan, are MIA. Gabi clearly wants Stefan back, but I doubt Gwen cares if she ever sees Dimitri again!

Back at Johnny’s trial on Friday, Marlena suddenly collapses! Is the stress of EJ’s hypnosis revealing something too much for her? Kayla is trying desperately to wake her up while Abe holds Marlena. Johnny is upset, and even EJ is worried. This could be a mystery malady, especially since she’s been feeling dizzy lately and Belle almost saw her fall the other day. They’ll rush Marlena out of the courtroom and straight to the hospital.

Sarah leans on Brady as things get even rougher with Xander over their daughter Victoria. Keep an eye on Brady because he’s going to start developing feelings for Sarah very soon! He hasn’t had a decent woman in his life in a while, and she gets along great with Rachel, which is a HUGE plus for him.

And get ready! Susan Banks is BACK on Friday! Stacy Haiduk will be doing double duty for a short time. Susan is in Salem to check on her “precious Elvis Jr.” (EJ) and her grandson Johnny, who’s on trial. Susan will try to use her psychic powers to figure out who shot her baby boy, EJ!

Looking Ahead: July 28 – August 1!

As we move into the week of July 28th through August 1st, Melinda and Sophia might be alarmed if Tate and Brady start digging into the phony adoption scheme. Melinda laid the groundwork for confusion by having Sophia say it was a girl adopted in Chicago. Sophia is worried someone will recognize the baby as “half-Asian” in Salem, which is why she specifically mentioned it to Melinda. Sophia’s time is also almost up to reclaim the baby, as mothers typically have 14 days after placing a baby in a safe haven adoption box. She told Melinda she doesn’t regret giving the baby up, but Tate is having major issues with this, and I’m wondering if he’ll dig in and figure out that Tessorto is his!

Marlena’s fragile health concerns have her family and friends extremely worried. She tells Anna, who then tells Tony, that Marlena believes Stefano Deara is somehow still alive! Marlena is experiencing “Queen of the Night” hallucinations. Could EJ want University Hospital so Dr. Rolf can have a local lab for his weird science experiments?

Holly and Tate get closer, with Holly comforting him as he’s devastated about never meeting his child. Get ready for more on Gwen’s secret agenda in Salem! The trial continues with Paulina, Rachel, and others testifying against Johnny.

And brace yourselves for some seriously heated moments! Gabi kisses Xander soon, and Sarah kisses Brady, which leads to Xander punching Brady! This is all coming up! Philip and Xander continue to bicker, and Kat and Rafe dig deeper into EJ’s finances.
