Peyton Meyer and Marissa Reyes may be two of Days of our Lives’ newcomers, but the young actors share a magical past long before their days in Salem.

Making Magic

Meyer has played Doug III since November 2024 when the character arrived in Salem on the same day as Doug’s (the late Bill Hayes) funeral. When it was revealed that he was Doug’s grandson, everyone in Salem loved him… until they learned he was the one who stole Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) necklace. Now, as Salemites slowly give Doug III a second chance, he’s found a good friend in Holly (Ashley Puzemis), who he hopes will turn into more.

As for Reyes, she’ll soon be making her DAYS debut as a grown-up Arianna Grace when she returns to Salem with her dad, Will (Chandler Massey). Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) has expressed her desire to have her daughter home for the summer, and with Reyes stepping into the role, it’s clear Gabi will be getting her wish.

Disney Days

What many may not know is that both Meyer and Reyes got their starts on Disney Channel.

After a recurring role on Dog With A Blog in 2013, Meyer landed the role of Lucas on the Boy Meets World reboot, Girl Meets World. As the young love interest to both Rowan Blanchard’s Riley and Sabrina Carpenter’s Maya, Meyer held the role until the series’ conclusion in 2017.

Reyes’ big break came as Cami on the That’s So Raven reboot, Raven’s Home. The recurring role of Raven’s son’s girlfriend began in 2022 and spanned eight episodes.
