Ever since Rocco learned the truth about how he came into the world, he’s been torn between respecting his parents’ wishes and getting to know the last remaining connection he has to the woman who gave birth to him, and he finally made a choice on the August 6, 2025 episode of General Hospital.
Who Does Rocco Choose?
Ever since Rocco (Finn Carr) reached out to Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), she’s been showing up all over Port Charles, whether she’s wanted or not. Rocco has been enjoying getting to know his pseudo grand-mutter, but Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), and especially Lulu (Alexa Havins), aren’t having it. They want Rocco far away from the woman who helped Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) steal their embryo.
But Rocco has had other plans, which involve defying his parents. He’s loved getting to know Obrecht and learning about Britt, and when Obrecht showed up to the Corinthos Coffee vs. PCPD softball game wearing a foam finger, he was happy to see her support.
After Obrecht invited Rocco and Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) for ice cream, Danny advised a torn Rocco to get to know Obrecht, while Jason (Steve Burton) advised Liesl to respect Rocco’s parents’ wishes. Just as Rocco was about to agree to go to ice cream, Liesl came up with a lighthearted excuse to not be able to go, but offered the boys a raincheck.
Things took an even more dramatic turn when Rocco admitted to Jason that he wished he could have known Britt, leaving Jason to ponder the idea of going to find the woman he believed to be still alive.
