July is kicking off with an explosive episode of General Hospital, and not everyone made it out alive on July 1, 2025.
Survivors
After a firebomb was tossed into Charlie’s, the pub went up in flames with Kristina (Kate Mansi) inside. She attempted to put the fire out herself, but when it began to spread, she became trapped behind the bar. Fortunately for her, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) caught the sight of the fire on his way to see his mother and barged in to help. With only a blanket protecting them from the smoke, Marco got them both out the back door as Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived.
They made it out with minor burns and smoke inhalation, but it was enough to send a worried Michael (Rory Gibson) down a PTSD spiral. He remembered the moments he was caught in the fire at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse, revealing to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) he still needed pain medication once in a while.
Casualties
When Chase (Josh Swickard) and Anna (Finola Hughes) made it into Natalia’s (Eva LaRue) hotel room, they found her unresponsive on the couch. Chase investigated the empty pill bottle and alcohol remnants in the room while Natalia was brought to GH and declared dead. When Marco arrived to be checked out, he was confronted by Anna and Chase about his mother, and the frantic son ran into her hospital room to find her deceased.
As for Charlie’s, while there were no casualties from the fire, the beloved pub may be a goner. When Sidwell (Carlo Rota) learned of Kristina being there, he made a call reminding someone that the fire was only supposed to be set if the pub was empty.
