Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) have grown closer during their music lessons. As expected, their friendship is turning romantic. This week, Daniel opens up to Danny (Michael Damian) about his relationship with Tessa. Danny senses that Tessa means a lot to Daniel, who confesses he’s developing real feelings for her. With Tessa and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) separated, will Daniel make his move on Tessa?

Billy’s (Jason Thompson) partnership with Cane (Billy Flynn) is over before it began. Now the youngest Abbott is teaming with his brother Jack (Peter Bergman) to stop Cane’s takeover of the Genoa City businesses. When Jack tells Diane (Susan Walters) of his plan, she voices her concerns. Jack realizes there’s a lot at stake by putting their faith and the future of Jabot into Billy’s hands. Jack seems to trust his brother, but with Billy’s history of reckless behavior, will Jack regret this decision?
Billy and Jack aren’t the only ones trying to take down Cane. Victor (Eric Braeden) wants intel on Cane’s plans and is using Lily (Christel Khalil) to do so. Lily agrees to get closer to her ex-husband, and this week, she meets with him. Cane invites Lily for a romantic dinner aboard his train,n and she’s nervous upon her arrival. Could it be that she’s having second thoughts about teaming with Victor? Or maybe she’s worried she’ll find herself falling in love with Cane again. With Lily spending more time with Cane, things will become complicated, and someone is going to get hurt.
