General Hospital alum Bryan Craig has made some interesting posts recently that have the fans abuzz at what may lie ahead for him.
Every so often, fans openly speculate whether or not Bryan Craig will return to General Hospital as Morgan Corinthos. He did make a brief appearance in August 2024 when Sonny was having a manic episode, and his son appeared to help him through it. That was enough to whet the fans’ appetite for more Morgan on the show. Craig recently dropped several nuggets on social media that, when you put them together, might add up to something the fans will love.
Morgan Speculation Reignites
It seems like yesterday, but Morgan met his fate in 2016 when a car bomb meant for Julian Jerome (ex-William deVry) blasted the young man off a cliff. Generally, in soaps, if there’s no body, fans know there’s a glimmer of hope that the character could return. In early July, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) shared a screenshot on Instagram from Craig’s stories that stated simply, “IYKYK.”
That stands for “If you know, you know,” and fans were abuzz with speculation as to its meaning, with one excitedly responding, “I need for this to be true!”
Courting With GH and Flirting With Salem
Craig recently made an appearance at the 2025 GH Fan Club Weekend and later shared on X, “Just want to say thank you. I appreciate all the love and support all the @GeneralHospital fans and the tabloids have given me. It will ultimately be up to @ABC_Casting @ABCNetwork @valentinifrank.” So he’s placed the decision in the hands of the show, with fans clamoring for his return.
In a strange twist, after news broke that Days of Our Lives’ Al Calderon was exiting the role of Javi, Craig wrote on X, “@daysofourlives, I hear you’re in need of a ‘Javi.’” This post, coupled with his others, indicates that he’s actively looking to get back into daytime TV. Ardent GH fans will continue to lobby for his return as Morgan, but if another show grabs him, they’ll be lucky to have such a great talent.
