Phyllis is one of Genoa City’s smart businesswomen. However, in recent months, she’s had bad luck which left her unemployed. As she searches for her next job, The Young and the Restless fans have career suggestions.
Working Girl
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has had plenty of jobs throughout her career. She worked at Jabot and Newman, and was owner of The Grand Phoenix. Unfortunately, her latest position with Abbott Communications didn’t work out. After a disagreement with Billy (Jason Thompson), he fired her.
Phyllis is anxious to get back on her feet. But where she’ll end up working is unknown.
However, on a soap opera message board, Y&R fans had a few ideas for Phyllis’ next career.
One fan wants to see Phyllis and Billy working together again. “I’d like for them to team up with Cane and get Chancellor and run it well together!”
“I think she’ll help prove Cane’s innocence and be rewarded with a job at one of his companies,” another fan replied.
One viewer wants Phyllis to branch out on her own. “The woman had her own successful business, why can’t she develop something of her own? She’s smart, tech-savvy, and everything is about tech these days.”
However, some viewers want her out of the corporate world.
“Waiting tables at Crimson Lights,” suggested one viewer.
“She should become GC’s new head detective taking over for Chance,” another viewer recommended.
Phyllis working at Crimson Lights or GCPD is unlikely. But she’s about to be a key player in Cane’s (Billy Flynn) shakeup for Genoa City’s business district.
With Phyllis becoming Cane’s new ally, she’s likely to work with him. Will her new role be at one of his companies? Or maybe the two team up to take over Chancellor or another business.
Wherever Phyllis ends up, she’s bound to cause boardroom drama.
