General Hospital alum William deVry shared the news of his latest film with his fans who were thrilled.
Every so often, General Hospital fans enjoy a mention of William deVry’s complex character Julian Jerome, because he was Lucas’ father. Sadly, Julian was killed after clashing with Sonny, and the footbridge they were on collapsed in 2020. Since then, he’s appeared on a few TV shows and movies, and recently shared exciting news about an upcoming project.
He Spilled the Beans
DeVry has been posting about his upcoming movie, Spill, on Instagram. In one, he shared the trailer and captioned it, “Living our dreams and having fun. @spillmovie Starring [Sofia Unal], me, and [director, Blake Ridder]. Times like this, I think about people who aren’t able to live their dreams cause they are busy fighting for their lives.”
He continued by explaining how the fans could help support the movie: “Please join @srocf sandyovarian.org for some of our events, including park and/or waterfront Walk-Sprints, baseball games including @phillies @dodgers as well as Ocean Side Walks. Just participate! The World Needs You.”
DeVry’s Dark Turn
According to its IMDb page, Spill’s plot is: “A simple house-cleaning job turns into a fight for survival when a desperate woman is caught between a grieving loner and a violent figure from his past.” Ridder (The Midnight Hour) not only wrote and directed the movie, but also stars alongside deVry and actress Unal, who has also appeared in a few of his short films.
One fan asked the pertinent question, “That looks awesome. When can we watch it?” and deVry responded, “@michelle_laplante, TBD but I bet in early Spring. Maybe early winter if we are lucky.” The fans were truly excited to see this latest feature. The trailer also contained some adult language as one follower noted, “Looks fantastic…and not going to lie, love hearing you cuss.”
