We’ve been building up to a singular moment ever since General Hospital rewrote history to say that, back in their summer camp days, Brook Lynn and Dante conceived a child together. Now, at last, it would appear that the time has arrived for clueless Dante to learn not only that he has another son but that that son is — surprise! — Gio.

The preview for the Wednesday, May 7, episode that ABC released ahead of air shines a spotlight on a heated argument between the unsuspecting father and Gio’s in-the-know grandma, Lois. You’ll recall that Dante read the boy for filth for his role in Rocco’s alcohol poisoning nightmare. Now Lois is obviously trying to do damage control. But she may have said too much and inadvertently tipped her hand.

“Please tell me who Gio really is,” Dante angrily yells at her.

Cornered, Lois may finally disclose that the kid he blames for his son’s brush with death is… also his son. At that point, all hell will break loose as the whole story comes out about Brook Lynn giving up the baby and her mother arranging for Gio to be adopted by her cousin, Camila.

Further complicating matters will be the fact that Lulu knew that Dante had a child with Brook Lynn out there and didn’t immediately tell him. So any hopes you might have harbored that “Lante” would reunite anytime soon should go flying out the window.
