Next on General Hospital
Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) have recently been through traumatic or dramatic experiences, more so Gio than Emma. He is still reeling from learning that his life was a lie and that he’s the son of Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Meanwhile, Emma’s frenemy, Joss (Eden McCoy), bested her for the all-important lab assistant position for Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard). Now Emma can’t achieve the justice that she wants.

But she’ll try anyway. Through it all, the two have been each other’s rocks. Emma came through for Gio big time after his life blew up. While they regularly support each other, they also manage to get a little flirting in. So it’s not a shock to see the latest Gemma-centric teaser that states Emma and Gio have a memorable encounter.

Let’s hope nothing or nobody ruins whatever is going on here. They deserve some happiness before their lives probably get extra spicy this summer.

Advice and Announcements
Vicious enemies Ava (Maura West) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) show up in Friday’s episode, not necessarily going up against each other. First, Ava offers counsel to Nina (Cynthia Watros), who desperately needs advice, considering she let Drew (Cameron Mathison) get the upper hand. And now he’s leveraging what he knows (she had him drugged) to get her to tow the line. Ava will hopefully come up with the perfect trick to help Nina upend Drew’s tactics.

Second, Kristina warns Michael (Rory Gibson). This may be about the Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew factor. She might remind him that he can’t let his guard down, especially with Drew in control. Speaking of the ex-Mrs. Michael Corinthos — look for her to make an announcement. The shattered woman who lost her kids to Michael may be ready to give Drew an answer as to whether she’ll marry him.

Don’t Underestimate Tracy
Finally, Tracy (Jane Elliot) feels cornered, undoubtedly by Martin (Michael E. Knight) via Drew Cain. She already offered Drew (through Martin) a deal. She’ll let him have his precious Quartermaine name if he rectifies what he did when he framed Tracy for his drugging. When Tracy’s cornered, she usually comes out fighting.
