A beloved EastEnders couple could be in danger of their relationship hitting the rocks.
Kim Fox and Howie Danes have overcome huge obstacles to be together in the BBC soap, from Kim injuring Howie’s son Denzel in a car accident to Howie supporting her through her PTSD diagnosis.
Howie and Kim appear stronger than ever, but that looks set to be put to the test after crossed wires and secrets put the couple at risk after four years.
Today’s episode sees Patrick Trueman win big on the horses, but he convinces Howie to keep the money secret from his wife Yolande.
Howie feels embarrassed when Denzel explains that he asked Kim for money, so he decides to try and bring in some extra cash by going for the bouncer’s job at Harry’s Barn.

He is turned away by Nicola Mitchell, and when he returns, he overhears Kim talking to her sister, Denise Fox, about how much she misses her late husband, Vincent Hubbard.
Vincent, as fans will remember, was killed by Aidan Maguire’s men after he turned his back on a life of crime and became a police informant.
Howie is crushed by what he hears, leaving before he can listen to Kim explain how she wouldn’t change Howie at all.
Could this mark the end for the couple despite everything they have endured?
Speaking exclusively on the red carpet at the British Soap Awards last month, Kim actor Tameka Empson explained the change she would love to see in her character.
Explaining how happy she was that Denise had ended up with Jack Branning rather than Ravi Gulati, she called for Kim to receive her happy ending.
“My thing was: what about Kim? What about Kim? That’s what I want to know. Howie still hasn’t put a ring on it. Do you know what I mean? She’s wearing her own ring. He hasn’t actually put a ring on it. So let’s see what happens,” she said.
Asked if Howie would pop the question anytime soon, Empson teased: “Sooner rather than later! But let’s see!”
