Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of May 5-9 reveals that Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) will shut out Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) while Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton Kiriakis’ (Linsey Godfrey) trip gets ruined. Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will also make a tempting offer, so let’s discuss all the DOOL drama ahead.

For starters, Days spoilers say Doug will push Holly away for her own good.

Now that Doug has moved out of the Kiriakis mansion, he’s been looking into homeless shelters and doesn’t want to be a burden to Holly anymore.

Doug’s thugs are back for more money, so he doesn’t want to put Holly in danger either.

It’s easy to see why Doug feels like he’s doing the right thing, but Holly will be hurt and confused over his actions.

Meanwhile, Tate Black (Leo Howard) will try to put a smile on Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) face despite her unfortunate circumstances.

Sophia is on modified bedrest and will have to miss the prom, but Tate might offer to bring the prom to her instead and start planning a private one.

Over with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), he’ll think the novel Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) wrote could be a hit if she’ll let Titan-DiMera publish it.

Stephanie may be embarrassed and act like she never planned on putting that out into the world, but Alex will think this is going to be great.

There’s a good chance Alex will talk Stephanie into letting him move forward with publishing plans for One Stormy Night.

Next, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) will have another outburst, so who will be on the receiving end of her wrath this time around?

Will it be Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) or someone else?

As for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Days spoilers say he’ll have a big week ahead. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will question EJ about his motives for bidding on a date with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), so EJ will realize his brother is perhaps a little jealous.

Later, EJ’s plans to purchase the hospital will become clear, so he’ll give updates to Dr. Jeffrey Russell (Michael Dietz) and ultimately extend an intriguing offer to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).

EJ might hint about helping Kayla get the drug Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) needs, but there’s always a catch when it comes to him.

Whatever the case, Kayla’s going to turn EJ down and rely on Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) as well as Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) to steal the drug from the lab.

Back with EJ, Days spoilers say he’ll make a protective vow when it comes to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and hope to keep his son from facing any legal consequences.

EJ currently believes Johnny fired at him that night at the DiMera mansion, but he doesn’t have all the puzzle pieces yet.

The real culprit should bring a much bigger shock sooner or later.

Finally, Sarah and Xander will move forward with a vacation, so they may decide to take their anniversary trip a bit early.

Unfortunately, Xander and Sarah’s plans will get wrecked once again when Sarah chokes following an apparent allergic reaction.

Sarah will pass out and leave Xander making some panicked predictions about what’ll happen if she doesn’t get the help she needs.
