Beyond The Gates is having a crossover event with The Young and the Restless. Bryton James will be the first guest on the new soap. In a preview, Devon is greeted by Anita and Vernon. However, there are questions as to whether Devon is related to Bill Hamilton.

Why Is Devon Coming To BTG?

Fans haven’t stopped buzzing about Devon’s (Bryton James) appearance in an upcoming episode of BTG. Both soaps kept this a big secret. Y&R and BTG fans assumed that a crossover wasn’t in the works since the shows are set in different parts of the country. Fans on the Facebook group want to know more details about Devon’s appearance.

“Devon’s company is primarily a music company. Tessa is signed with them. And they put on concerts and sign other artists. I read that Devon is going to the concert because of their fame back in the day, and maybe he’s thinking about signing them. Nothing nefarious, folks. Just Devon going to the concert,” one person responded.

Secret Relations

It’s possible that there’s a different kind of connection between Devon and Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett). They do share the same last name, after all. However, it might not be anything more than just a Y&R and BTG crossover. Another person commented, “He might be related to Bill,” while another fan teased, “This might introduce us to some of Bill’s family. If Devon and Bill share the same sur name…maybe Devon’s mother is Bill’s sister.”

Devon was introduced as Devon Hamilton and was adopted into the Winters family. Still, it’s unclear whether Devon shares anything more with the Hamiltons in Atlanta. This could bring up a new juicy storyline that offers more insight into Bill and his family.
