Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) trial began and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Belle (Martha Madison) wound up at odds in the courtroom. Later, Chad (Billy Flynn), Jada (Elia Cantu), and Roman (Josh Taylor) all took the stand, forced to be honest about their recounts of the night of EJ’s shooting.

Belle and EJ tore into each other for their approaches to the trial. Later, during a conversation with Susan, she suddenly felt Stefano’s (the late Joe Mascolo) presence in the mansion. Tate (Leo Howard) confided in Holly (Ashley Puzemis) about Sophia (Rachel Boyd) and the baby. Sophia had a checkup with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), who confronted her about the sex of her baby. When Sarah questioned whether the baby was in danger, Sophia was forced to tell her what happened.
Thursday, July 31, 2025, Episode #15173
Chad caught Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) and Rafe (Galen Gering) chatting in the square. Later, when he ran into Cat at the hospital, they got in the elevator together and it stopped. After feeling his presence, Susan believed Stefano was alive and revealed she’s a medium in training. Xander (Paul Telfer) offered to let Sarah have Victoria for the night and asked her to sign the separation papers. When Stephanie (Abigail Klein) found the galley of her book and noticed the passage she wanted taken out was still in it, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) realized he never got around to it. But when he called about it, he found out it was too late and Stephanie was forced to admit the passage was about her ex. Steve (Stephen Nichols) admitted to Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) that during his investigation into The Kiriakises, he discovered that Alex had previously been arrested.
Friday, August 1, 2025, Episode #15174
When Chad and Cat wound up stuck in the elevator, Sarah called EJ to come help fix it. Rachel (Alice Halsey) admitted to Marlena (Deidre Hall) that EJ wants her to lie about the night of his shooting. Rita (Maggie Carney) assured EJ that as far as she knows, Stefano is dead. Later, EJ found out that Sami (Alison Sweeney) was on her way to Salem. Xander had dinner with Gwen (Emily O’Brien) while Sarah bonded with Brady (Eric Martsolf).
