Susan Seaforth Hayes and Suzanne Rogers celebrated a major event in the life of The Bold and the Beautiful’s Susan Flannery.
The Bold and the Beautiful’s Stephanie was the iconic Forrester matriarch who co-founded Forrester Creations. She had a legendary feud with Brooke, which thankfully evolved into a friendship. Although she was a wildly fierce woman, when she eventually faced cancer, her softer side came through and culminated in an emotional farewell that fans still talk about to this day. A recent milestone in her portrayer, Susan Flannery’s life was revealed on social media, stunning the fans.
On Instagram, Days of Our Lives star Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) shared an image that was a side-by-side picture of herself with Flannery and DAYS’ Suzanne Rogers (Maggie). On the left was the three of them from back in the day, and on the right was recent. She captioned it, “3 Susies have breakfast at Art’s Deli.”
Hayes continued: “The occasion: Susan Flannery, one of the great ladies of daytime or anywhere she turns up – is moving to Australia. Flannery was a beloved mentor and pal to Suzanne and me in our early Salem Days together.” The actress lovingly ended her bittersweet tribute with, “Laughs, love, tears, hugs…just like Salem. We will miss her ❤️⏳.”
Soap Royalty Saluted
Co-star Greg Rikaart (Leo) lovingly commented, “Incredible 😍.” Two actresses from The Young and the Restless chimed in, with Lauralee Bell (Christine) sharing, “❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️,” and Tracey Bregman (Lauren) writing, “Omg amazing!!” One fan gushed, “Oh, how wonderful, have admired Susan Flannery for years. May her new life in Australia be a wonderful one!”
From 1966 to 1975, Flannery played Laura Horton on DAYS, which one fan fondly recalled, “Susan Flannery was SO good as Laura in DOOL!! A big part of my early childhood, watching whenever I could. Love all 3 of you❤️❤️❤️.” While many followers noted that the three were legends, one recalled seeing Flannery on both soaps, commenting, “This is so great! Takes me right back to being a little girl rooting for Laura and Bill and then Mickey and Maggie and always Doug and Julie!”
