Bridget is one of the top doctors on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, her medical career hasn’t been easy, and Ashley Jones offers a unique perspective on Bridget’s work.
The Road to Bridget Becoming a Doctor
On B&B, most of the characters are in the fashion design business. With Forrester Creations being the main fashion house, almost all of the family members work at the company. However, Bridget is an exception. She decided to forego a fashion career to become a doctor. In a new Instagram video, Jones humorously describes Bridget’s career journey.
“Well, I’m a doctor,” Jones said as she got into character. “I love being a doctor. I actually started out as a model because my father owns one of the biggest um fashion houses in the world. So I was, yeah, I was a runway model. But I didn’t love it. I really always felt like I wanted to be, you know helping other people and be a doctor.” Jones then recounted some of the mishaps that occurred throughout Bridget’s medical career.
Breaking the Forrester Mold
“So, um, I started out as an internationally renowned fertility specialist. People came from all over the world. It was amazing, but the problem was I put my mother’s eggs in the wrong woman. It was a big mishap at the hospital. I don’t even know if it was really my fault, but I stopped doing fertility. Now I just do like heart surgery, brain surgery. Mainly on family members, but I did just get a bullet out someone. I thought we were successful. We did such a good job, but she died anyway. What do you do?”
Recently, Bridget has been busy at the hospital. First, she treated, Luna (Lisa Yamada) and the other victims from her shooting. Now, she and Finn (Tanner Novlan) learned that Grace (Cassandra Creech) lied about Liam’s (Scott Clifton) brain tumor. If Bridget and Finn think that’s bad, wait until they learn that Luna is still alive thanks to Li (Naomi Matsuda)…
