Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, August 6, nudge Tate toward questioning Sophia’s story. Will it fall apart underneath her lies?
Tate Asks Sophia For Details
Sophia (Rachel Boyd) told Tate (Leo Howard) that she gave birth out of town and immediately handed their “daughter” over to her adoptive parents. Here’s a photo, take my word for it, and sign those papers, already! Tate did as he was told, but he had second thoughts almost immediately.
Now he has some follow-up questions for Sophia. He has every right to want to know the names of the adoptive parents—if it’s an open adoption—and to even speak to them on the phone. Heck, he can demand to see them in person and make sure the baby goes to a good home. What will Sophia do then?
Abe Reassures Paulina
Even Sami (Alison Sweeney) agreed that EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) defending Johnny (Carson Boatman) for EJ’s shooting is a good thing. But EJ merely saying, “Hey, I’m the victim and I don’t believe he did it,” may not be enough.
They need a secondary strategy, and it should actually be legally sound, rather than going on vibes. So the two plot their next move, while Paulina (Jackée Harry) insists on seeing the worst-case scenario, and Abe (James Reynolds) is there to talk her down. As usual….
Gabi Complains
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) has her daughter back. But that doesn’t mean she has everything she wants. She and Xander (Paul Telfer) made a deal to give her the DiMera family company to run. But that’s still not enough.
Gabi has some complaints, and she needs to voice them. To whomever is there, and whether or not they are interested in listening. For now, that’ll be Rafe (Galen Gering) and Leo (Greg Rikaart). Everyone else saw her coming, ducked, and covered.
