The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, August 1 saw Finn cornering Grace, Eric intervening, and Ridge choosing his fate.

What You Missed Today

Nick (Jack Wagner) reminisced about all the best of times wth Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) while staring at his boat alone. As for Brooke, she was at her hotel reminiscing about walking away from Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). She grabbed herself a drink of sparkling water and tried to process her feelings.

As for Ridge, he was over in his own hotel room getting lectured by Eric (John McCook). He once again implored his son to give up the charade and dump Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and make his life right. He warned him that Brooke wouldn’t be waiting around forever. Just look, Nick is already trying to woo her. Time is fleeting, son, you gotta snatch up love while you can.

Ridge decided to squash this mess once and for all and headed on over to Brooke’s hotel room. However, knocking at the door didn’t get him an answer. Brooke was busy staring at her phone with earphones in and didn’t hear his banging or calling her name.

Later, Eric turned up to check on the couple and was disappointed to find out his son never got into Brooke’s room. He implored Brooke to wait for his son and promised he was on her side through this. He was disappointed to hear Brooke would not, in fact, be waiting on her ex. Instead, she’s going out with Nick.

Finn Had Questions…So Many Questions

Meanwhile, Finn (Tanner Novlan) was at the hospital talking over his suspicions with Bridget (Ashley Jones). The still know virtually nothing about the experimental surgery and Finn didn’t love that. He was also having a hard time getting into Liam’s (Scott Clifton) medical records. Something is not adding up.

Finn caught Grace (Cassandra Creech) walking by his office and called her in. He demanded answers about Liam’s miraculous recovery. Where are the records? Where are the surgical notes? As you can guess, Grace didn’t have answers.

Taylor Stared Down Another Logan

Back at the Forrester mansion, Katie (Heather Tom) turned up to see her sister but found Taylor instead. Katie couldn’t help but take a few cheap shots about the whole Italy trip and Brooke getting in some good alone time with Ridge. Taylor shot the conversation down and make it known that she trusted Ridge. She suggested Brooke do herself a favor and lean into Nick because Ridge is taken and Italy isn’t going to change that.

Taylor then launched into a whole tirade about everyone being against her and Ridge being together. Eric is interfering, the Logans are interfering, and Brooke was interfering. Taylor was pleased she was winning every round, though, and insisted Ridge would be coming home to her and only her.

Ridge Ran Towards His Destiny

As it turns out, Taylor was wrong. Oh, so very wrong. While she was bragging about her cosmic connection to Ridge, he was chasing down Brooke. He found her at the fountain in the square while she was waiting for Nick. Oh, how we love when history repeats itself.
