Ashley Jones’ character Bridget has a complicated love life on The Bold and the Beautiful. With multiple marriages and divorces, plus a few affairs, there’s lots of drama. If Bridget were ever to date someone new, she’d have a lot to explain about her history.

Soap First Date Revelations

All soap characters have dramatic love lives. So, when they embark on a new relationship, it might be difficult for them to discuss their past. But not for Jones, who spoofed her character Bridget’s love life in a hilarious Instagram video. The actress is in character pretending to be a first date as she explains Bridget’s history.

“I was married and yeah I was married. Yeah, we were in love. We were married a couple of times actually, but the problem was he was in love with my mother that was like the main issue. His mom was dating a much younger guy like this boy toy kind of thing. I have an affair with boy toy and that’s my son. He’s so sweet. He’s amazing. He would love him. His name is Logan. He’s like perfect.”

After giving explaining her past with Nick (Jack Wagner) and Owen (Brandon Beemer), she gave an update about Nick. “So that guy that I was telling you about-that I was married to. Um, I think he’s in ITALY with my MOM right now. I don’t think my mom’s in love with him, though. That’s the problem.” Jones then captioned the video, “Barely scraped the surface. What’d I miss?”

Bridget certainly has had a drama-filled love life with her marriages and divorces from Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Nick. Her mother Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) played in her heartache by breaking up her marriages. Then of course, there’s Bridget’s affair with Owen, which led to Logan’s conception. Although romance is currently the furthest thing on her mind, she’ll have quite the story to tell her next date.
