Callum Highway will make another risky move amid his controversial fling with Johnny Carter on EastEnders.
The two have recently given in to their mutual attraction, despite Callum being married to Ben Mitchell, and were caught in the act by Phil in recent scenes, who was enraged at his son-in-law for breaking his wedding vows.
In new scenes set to air next week on 7 August, it seems Callum will be forced to make a difficult choice amid the affair.
Things start when he takes another risk and flirts with Johnny in a text message exchange, before he and Lexi enjoy a ‘girls day’ together. Callum attempts to lift her spirits after a call from Ben.
Later on, a concerned Jay sees the flirty texts between Callum and Johnny and warns him against the fling, leaving Callum torn between the affair and his family commitments.
What will he decide?
“Callum is struggling to forget about Johnny,” our EastEnders source said. “He cooled off their fling when Phil found out and reacted terribly, but after a few more weeks of feeling lonely without Ben, it’s possible that he’s ready to start putting himself first again.
“Jay fears the consequences for everyone – especially Lexi – if Callum pursues this. But will Callum do things his own way?”
In other EastEnders news, show viewers were recently left shocked after Queen Vic barmaid Tracey’s job was put at risk by new landlady Kat Moon.
