This cutie is giving Burton some competition.
Just two months after tying the knot with chef Michelle Lundstrom, General Hospital’s Steve Burton has revealed a new addition to their family.
Puppy Love
Burton (Jason, GH) and Lundstrom married on May 17, 2025 after a year of dating, blending their families; Lundstrom’s two daughters and Burton’s son and two daughters. Now, the couple have jointly taken to Instagram to introduce the world to Wyatt, their 8-week old toy Australian shepherd puppy.
“Welcome home, Wyatt Burton. Meet the sweetest addition to our family,” they wrote in the caption. “He’s super new, only 8 weeks old. Seriously the cutest little fluffy guy. We all love him!”
The Instagram reel featured several clips of Lundstrom bringing Wyatt home and introducing him to the family, and ended with a sweet snap of Burton holding the new pup.
Fans flooded the comments with love for the little guy, while GH co-stars Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Maura West (Ava) liked the reel.
Who Let The Dogs Out
This puppy reveal comes not long after GH introduced a new dog on the show. The beagle named Outback is currently living at Anna’s (Finola Hughes) apartment after being taken in by Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza). But considering Professor Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) habit of experimenting on animals, things may turn dramatic quick for Outback and her new family.
As for Burton’s character, Jason has got his hands full with a new venture after spotting a woman who resembled the supposedly deceased Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). This week on GH, Jason will seek answers from Liesl (Kathleen Gati), and only time will tell if he discovers that Britt wasn’t so dead after all and the two can rekindle their old flame.
