Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes) may be in some trouble after her one-night stand with Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer). Is one of the loan sharks he’s in trouble with planning to kidnap her for a ransom to retrieve their “investment”?

Doug Called His “Creditors” The Same Day As Arianna Was Followed By A Man With A Camera

In the episode of Thursday, June 5 Doug sat in the Horton Town Square and called his “creditors” and tried to negotiate-he told them he’d pay them in full, but he just needed more time.

Later, Arianna came into Brady’s Pub, shortly after Doug had gone to work and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) had left-he’d been the first to tell her about John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) death.

She’d left immediately to go give her condolences to Tate Black (Leo Howard) on the death of his grandfather.

Doug had also made a stop to talk to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) but he didn’t have news on what happened to Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) grandmother’s necklace he stole.

Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) claimed she sold it-but later, as Arianna and he talked in Brady’s Pub, a mysterious man (unnamed character/actor) with a camera was stalking them!

Doug Was Beaten By His “Creditors” Before-Who Is This Photographer, And What Does He Want?

There is a big question now, as to who this photographer is, and what does he want-or is he someone sent to see who Doug’s associates are and report back? Is he a private investigator, and if so, why, what and who are the subjects of his investigation? 

He apparently was lurking outside the Pub when Holly was there but took no photos until Arianna stepped in. So many untoward motives could be behind this mystery photographer and his photos-anything from a potential kidnapping to a hit man and his targets! 

Doug was previously beaten by his “creditors” or someone they sent-that’s how Holly and he got acquainted after Julie kicked him out, and she found him on a park bench.

Doug Doesn’t Have Money For A Ransom-But Arianna’s Relatives Do! 

Doug doesn’t have money to pay for a ransom for a potential Arianna kidnapper, but her relatives do-as they’ll find out when they find out who she is.

Perhaps they don’t believe Doug when he says he can’t pay them in full right away-and kidnapping his perceived “girlfriend” will motivate him!

But one thing is plain-after Arianna left from talking with Doug, the photog kept following her and shooting photos of her.

So whatever is plotted and planned, Arianna is definitely the target, whether it is a kidnap for ransom or god forbid, something worse.

And considering that the photog was honed in on both of them and taking photos, there appears to be some kind of targeting of both of them!
