Well, Nina (Cynthia Watros) is in an interesting place. She has the power to end Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) if she tells the truth about her and Drew’s past fling. And she has the power to potentially win the kids for Willow now that she has put two and two together and come up with Michael (Rory Gibson) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Thanks to her quick thinking, she knows Michael and Sasha drunkenly hooked up the night that everybody found out about Willow and Drew’s affair. And as a result, Sasha became pregnant with Michael’s baby.
What to do? Well, Nina turns to her bestie Ava (Maura West) for help. When Ava counsels Nina, what advice does the wise and sometimes diabolical woman offer? And will it all go down at the trial?
Meanwhile, Michael issues a request to Sasha. He’s already let her know that he will stay out of the baby’s life if that’s what she wants. But he clearly wants to be a part of it. You can just tell. So what does this request entail? If it doesn’t have anything to do with the baby, then maybe it has something to do with her testifying at the upcoming trial.
Reservations and Reconnecting
There are some other Port Charles secrets that need some attention. If you recall, Curtis (Donnell Turner) found out the extent of Portia’s (Brook Kerr) and Drew’s blackmail entanglement at the Nurses’ Ball. And he wasn’t happy about it. In fact, he and his wife pretended everything was all hunky dory the rest of the evening. What about now that it’s over? If Curtis has reservations, as the teasers suggest, then he may still be upset with his wife. Or this could be about his former friend, Drew.
In addition, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) are aware of what the other knows. And Alexis seems determined to do something about it, other than let her daughter learn from her massive mistakes. So, look for Alexis to meet with Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Kristina. Undoubtedly, this trio will try to figure out how to eliminate Ric (Rick Hearst) and Ava’s upper hand.
Finally, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Laura (Genie Francis) reconnect. Liz is still recuperating from the accident, while Laura’s life is a bit turbulent, what with the vote for referendum C looming. Plus, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is proving to be a thorn in the mayor’s side, along with Councilman Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) and Drew. What will be the main topic of LIz and Laura’s discussion?
