There’s a new nickname in Genoa City & it wasn’t created by Victor Newman, but it was by someone else he nicknamed, Billy Boy Abbott. Billy Boy is calling it like he sees it & how it really is. Adam Newman is Victor Newman’s puppet boy & there are no questions about it. Billy Abbott will always be Billy Boy, but how long will Adam be Victor’s puppet boy on Young & the Restless?

GC’s Puppet Boy Makes Y&R Fans Sad & Sleepy

Puppet shows are for kids & Young & the Restless fans have about had it with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as of late. Now that Adam is going into the Newman Media office regularly, he has resumed his role as Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) puppet. While this is nothing new for Adam, his new nickname is. Now he’s Puppet Boy by Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Young & the Restless fans are not all about Adam being Victor’s puppet. Fans love it when Adam is his own man & makes his own decisions. Now his rebooted girlfriend, whom he just hired as his COO at Newman Media, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), is taking turns pulling Puppet Boy’s strings as well. The best of Adam Newman is not a “yes man.” He’s his own man, whom Y&R fans love, but now they’re sad & sleepy & fast-forward buttons are becoming worn out.

Puppet Boy Can’t Have Both, The Mustache vs The Con

The Mustache is demanding anything he wants from Puppet Boy. His granddaughter Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) & her boyfriend Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are interested in buying Adam’s condo, but Victor is demanding that Adam not go through with the sale. What in the actual hell? Yes, Victor Newman likes to do everything in his power to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, to whoever he wants, but can there be a limit at some point? Adam owns his freaking condo & should be able to do whatever he wants with it. Duh, Victor Newman. Whoa!

Besides needing Victor’s approval before selling his condo, Adam also needs to do everything in his power to smear Billy Boy Abbott via Newman Media. The Mustache wants it to be as widespread as possible that Billy nearly ruined Chancellor Industries, which isn’t true, but Victor couldn’t care less.

The Con cares, however. Yes, Chelsea Lawson, the once-upon-a-time con, does care whether her ex-boyfriend Billy Abbott is smeared all over. She doesn’t want any part of it despite taking the COO position at Newman Media alongside Adam. Chelsea admittedly did not consider any of the potential negatives to working with Adam. The Con literally just cheated on Billy Boy with the Puppet Boy & she didn’t foresee any hardship… Whoa!

Time to Call Back the Movers, Adam’s Condo Hasn’t Sold

Perhaps there’s another reason the sale of Adam’s condo to Claire & Kyle will not be going through as planned, he /& or Chelsea will need a place. Puppet Boy will anger one of his string masters & then those strings will be cut. Victor is demanding the hit piece on Billy & Chelsea is demanding that Newman Media be used for good. Who will win? It will not be Adam Newman. If Adam lets Victor pull his strings, he’ll remain on the Newman Ranch, but Chelsea may have had enough & will take Adam’s condo as a parting gift. If Adam lets Chelsea pull the strings, they will be moving together, supposedly in love again, to Adam’s condo.

Worst case scenario, Chelsea can move back into Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) apartment above Crimson Lights after breaking up with Adam for the umpteenth time & Adam can attempt to reboot with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as so many Young & the Restless fans are hoping for.
