DOOL fans know Gabi wound up spending $15,000 on a bachelor auction date with Alex.

It was mostly to make JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) jealous – though Gabi has acknowledged that the money went to a good cause.

Even so, Gabi dropped a boatload on this and expects Alex to come with something amazing for their upcoming date night.

Alex tried to suggest a simple meal at The Bistro, but Gabi balked at that and gave him some time to put a little more effort into his plans.

During the week of May 12-16, Alex will finally have a chance to blow Gabi’s mind – perhaps in more ways than one.

Days spoilers say Gabi and Alex’s date will come with some surprises, so one of them might be what a wonderful time they have together.

Alex is committed to Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and has been clear about this “date” being a platonic gesture for charity.

It’s not like Alex plans to catch feelings, but could some develop anyway?

That’s certainly a possibility for Gabi as well, especially since she’s still angry with JJ over the accusations he threw at her.

Gabi may find it nice to get swept up in this quasi-romantic evening and forget her problems for a while.

Days fans know there’s been a ton of stressful chaos happening at Gabi Chic lately, so this date with Alex may be exactly what Gabi needs to relax.

Gabi may share some laughs with Alex and get updates on his positive predictions about publishing Stephanie’s manuscript, too.

There’s been a lot of talk about Stephanie’s novel being rather titillating.

Alex suggested it was like Fifty Shades of Grey but better, so we’re dealing with something pretty sizzling.

We can envision a couple different scenarios now that this One Stormy Night angle has been introduced.

Option one is that Alex could tell Gabi all about it or even give her a copy to read.

Gabi works at Titan-DiMera, so Alex might recruit her to get another perspective on whether this book could be a hit.

It’s easy to imagine Gabi fantasizing about herself with Alex and acting out some of the hot scenes in her head.

Another option might be if this leads to a film adaptation of the novel and Gabi somehow scores the leading part along with Alex as her leading man.

Regardless, there’s a good chance Gabi’s date with Alex will set the stage for something scandalous!

That doesn’t necessarily have to be cheating just yet since Days has this steamy novel situation going on.
