During their recent meeting at the GCAC, Sally Spectra caught Audra deep in thought about Victor’s proposition and wasted no time grilling her about it. The conversation quickly turned uncomfortable when Sally pointed out the obvious – Audra’s first stint working under Victor’s thumb ended in disaster, so why would round two be any different?

But Sally hit a nerve when she brought up Nate Hastings.

“You’ve finally found something real with Nate,” Sally reminded her. “Is getting even with Kyle really worth throwing that away?”

That question clearly rattled Audra more than she wanted to admit.

Nate and Audra have been building something genuine – a refreshing change from the manipulation and scheming that has defined most of Audra’s time in Genoa City. After catching Audra with Victor earlier this week, Nate’s suspicions were immediately raised.

“What exactly were you discussing with Victor?” he asked, those doctor’s eyes of his missing absolutely nothing.

Audra brushed it off as a casual conversation, but Nate’s not buying it. And honestly, he shouldn’t. The man has been crystal clear about his stance on underhanded business tactics – he wants nothing to do with them. After his own ethical missteps at Chancellor-Winters nearly cost him everything, Nate has recommitted to the straight and narrow.

Would he really stand by a partner who’s plotting seduction as corporate revenge?
