Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, May 5, reveals that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will struggle with a mystery while Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) marriage is at stake. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will also deal with an angry visitor, so some intense scenes are on the way.

Now that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) have agreed to steal the drug Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) needs, they’ll have to figure out exactly how they’re going to pull it off.

This will require a lab break-in, so Steve will ultimately suggest giving Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) updates on their plot.

Kayla is desperate to keep Bo alive, so she’ll give Steve the green light in the coming episodes.

In the meantime, Days spoilers say Johnny’s marriage will be at stake as he seeks guidance from Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).

Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) was hurt when Johnny abruptly canceled the adoption, but Marlena will see a path forward for the two of them.

Johnny is struggling with doubts about fatherhood, but Marlena will give him a fresh perspective.

Although Johnny isn’t ready to start a family right this minute, Marlena may make some predictions about him changing his mind if he fully commits to therapy and self-reflection.

Other Days spoilers say Chanel will continue to mull over the adoption drama and how close she was to having the baby she wants.

Since Chanel will hold EJ responsible for Johnny ditching their adoption plan, she’ll decide to unleash her wrath on the recovering DiMera.

EJ will express genuine remorse for his role in blowing up Chanel and Johnny’s family.

Of course, EJ will keep worrying about the footage from the memory card as well since he fears Johnny might’ve pulled the trigger.

Although EJ had a terrible dream about Johnny’s guilt, his memories are obviously a bit jumbled when it comes to that night.

Over with Chad, he’ll ponder the mystery of why EJ would bid on a date with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).

Chad won’t think Cat should go through with it, but she’ll insist on honoring her charity bachelorette auction agreement.

Since EJ plans to become the hospital’s new bankroller, maybe Cat will fit into that goal somehow.

Whatever the case, Chad will put EJ through a grilling session about his real agenda at some point during the week of May 5-9.
