On The Bold and the Beautiful next week, Katie’s radar is on high alert after witnessing Daphne and Carter talking at the fashion show. That may sound innocent enough, but Daphne placed her hand on Carter’s shoulder as she was talking to him (read: showering him with compliments).
What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful
Katie (Heather Tom) may not have heard what Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) was cooing to Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) at the fashion show, but she knows flirtation when she sees it. Although Carter is a single man, Katie and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) think that he and Hope (Annika Noelle) belong together. Until they believe otherwise, they are determined to keep Carter available in case Hope changes her mind about being with him.
Daphne nose…er, knows…that Brooke already caught wind of her seduction attempts with Carter. Daphne had no qualms assuring Carter that he doesn’t belong with Hope, and that she is a better match for him. But Carter told Brooke that he still loved Hope and was determined to get her back. That said, he hasn’t exactly given Daphne a firm no, either. He could tell her to stop hitting on him, but he hasn’t, although he has told her he still cares about his ex. Nevertheless, she persisted.
On Monday, Katie spots Daphne kissing Carter. Now that she knows for sure that Daphne has an agenda, she wants to know all.
On Tuesday, Katie eavesdrops on Daphne and Zende (Delon de Metz) and hears more than she bargained. Katie demands answers out of Forrester’s star perfumer and wants to know why she really just showed up out of nowhere, willing to join the company at such a tumultuous time.
After finding out that Daphne and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are good friends, Katie is infuriated. It was Steffy who had asked Daphne to come to Forrester as part of a plot to fight back against the coup by breaking up Carter and Hope.
On Wednesday, Katie and Daphne argue, but Daphne seems to be outmatched against the furious Logan sister, who is out to protect her niece and Carter. Will this showdown affect Daphne’s position in the company? Katie is in charge of HR — does she have any say on whether or not Daphne can be at Forrester? Her perfume line just launched at the fashion show, and Daphne is always a hit, but will someone need to come to her rescue this time?
